Clarity. Connection. Growth.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve spent a long time holding things together on your own. My role is to offer a space where you don’t have to perform, explain away your pain, or have everything figured out. I believe healing happens in relationship through curiosity, honesty, and meaningful human connection.

Why Therapy?

You may be someone who’s been carrying a lot for a long time, supporting others while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Anxiety, stress, depression, past experiences, or relationship patterns may keep resurfacing. You might be navigating identity, parenting, life transitions, or a sense that something needs to change. You’re not looking for quick fixes, but for understanding, depth, and a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and others in a more grounded, authentic way.

I’m an Oakland-based Black/Multiracial Associate offering trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy grounded in authentic connection. Using a strengths-based and collaborative approach, I integrate CBT, mindfulness, and relational work to help you explore patterns, build self-awareness, and create meaningful, sustainable change at your own pace.

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable and daunting, especially if you’ve been doing it all on your own or you don't have the support that you need. You don’t need perfect words or a clear plan, just curiosity and willingness. I offer a grounded, respectful space to explore, heal, and grow at your own pace. If this resonates, I welcome the chance to connect.

  • A space to navigate the complexities of belonging, cultural expectations, or the unique social pressures that shape how you move through the world..

  • Support when persistent heaviness or a constant sense of worry begins to cloud your daily life and disconnect you from yourself.

  • Navigating the profound emotional shifts of new parenthood or the ongoing challenges of raising children while trying to maintain your own sense of self.

  • Explore how past experiences or family histories continue to influence their present-day patterns and emotional well-being.

  • Changing careers, ending a relationship, or entering a new decade, transitions often require a grounded space to process the "in-between" of life.

  • Carrying the weight of a significant ending or the death of a loved one, therapy provides a patient, non-judgmental container for your mourning.

  • Feel stuck in cycles of conflict or disconnection and want to understand the dynamics of how you show up in your relationships with others.

  • Wrestling with the "big questions" regarding their purpose, the meaning of their choices, or a general sense of being adrift in the world.

  • Feels exhausted by the internal pressure to be "flawless" and is ready to trade self-criticism for self-compassion.
